Some Digi-Scrap Sites

Don't have an image editing program, but you'd like to try digi-scrapping? Try Phoenix at the aviary, or Picnik. Paint.net--although I don't know where to find it (Hava?) sounds like it is free to download (and you don't have to be online! Major Perk!). Phoenix is a lot like photoshop. . . Picnik is kind of it's own style, but it also has a lot of the same actions. The only bummer is that you have to upload all of your photos to the internet (Picnik uses programs like facebook, picassa, and flickr, I think Phoenix does too--or both can uplaod a pic online if it has an html code attached, or one straight from you computer).

Now, if you don't have any neat "paper" or "embellishments"--download some from shabbyprincess.com, or ikeagoddess.blogspot.com will show you some neat freebies she finds and where to download them.

Shamelessly Advertising

I would (almost) give my left arm to have one of these, and since that's about how much one would cost, I'm going to enter this giveaway and hope I win. Can you imagine? A double stroller? No more pushing Nana in our short, dysfunctional umbie stroller, while carrying Eenie (near impossible for a single person--thank goodness we have a baby carrier--of course, Eenie's getting heavy and we'll be needing the carrier for the new baby--is it possible to wear two baby carriers at once? Isn't there some law of nature that states you can't have three children three and under?). I really hope I win this stroller--or at least find a nice enough one at a yard sale someday. Feel free to enter for me ;D. . . lol.

What Was I Thinking?

Tomorrow I promise to show you what my skill level is like right now--I'm still learning, but I think I do pretty good. Okay, so some people can do these awesome-tripped out layers on their scrap pages--mine usually just look kind of weird (but I'm getting better: I hope.)--case in point: (look on the "real" blog to see).

The "Enlightenment"

Yup, more digi-scrap pages on the "real" blog--these ones are better--but the best is still to come!

A Revelation

Another digi-invite on the "real" blog, which led to a new friend telling me about shabbyprincess(dot)com. All of the scrapping gets better from here--I promise.

Epson(dot)com--we'll call it the "Iron Age" of Digi-Scrapping

There's some more scrapbook pages on the "real" blog from when I finally discovered I could download free digi scrap supplies (albeit, they are mostly not as good from epson--so neither are my pages :P).

Digi Invites

Some more digi scrapping is up on the "real" blog.

Privatization effective IMMEDIATELY!

Let me know if you would like an invite to our private blog, "Our Growing Family" aka ourgrowinfamily(dot)blogspot(dot)com. Leave me your email (I won't publish your comment if you include your email).

I was getting worried about posting pictures of the kids, so when I told some friends that I would post some digi-scrapping, I decided I should go private before I put them on a blog. I found this awesome function and was able to export all of the posts that used to be on here (even all of the comments that were made! and my drafts, too!!!), so there was nothing holding me back from going private. Except. . .

PLEASE don't be shy. Ask me for an invite--it'll make me feel good :D. (Unless, of course, you happen to be a creepy stalker from my elementary school days with too much body hair and B.O. Then, don't bother.)

BTW, I still plan on posting the titles of the other blog posts for awhile, just so you can see that I'm still posting.
